We came here on a Thursday night around 10pm and to our surprise, we almost had the cafe to ourselves. I like coming here because the service is always prompt and when you order the Prime Rib, it comes out rather quickly. I believe they are still open 24/7 and they also have late night specials.

Heading north from downtown Vegas at night can be an "interesting" experience. Driving that direction on Main Street takes you into quite a different experience from the Viva Las Vegas vibe. My friend Gil had received a recommendation to check the Jerry's for their prime rib and giant eclair. That sounded great but I just hoped the surrounding neighborhood wouldn't be too sketchy since I already knew what it looked like on the north end of the freeway. A little after 9, we spotted the bright neon sign for Jerry's Casino. It was a lot bigger than I expected and busy for a Thursday night. Security was at the casino entrance and was very friendly as we greeted him as we entered. The diner is located on the other end of the casino entrance. The clientele consists of mostly senior citizens and the diner was quite busy even though we were promptly seated. We passed a couple of amazing dessert cases on our way to our table and we both knew dessert was going to be a part of the evening meal. They have a rather extensive menu so it's not hard to find something interesting to order. I was thinking about ordering a sandwich since I didn't feel like I could handle a prime rib dinner but saw the open faced turkey sandwich was reasonably priced and I'm a sucker for cranberry sauce so that and a slice of blueberry cheesecake was what I was going with. Gil ordered the regular cut prime ribs. They had run out of medium rare so he had to settle for medium. When our food arrived, I was blown away by the size of my dinner. It was a very generous portion of roast turkey and mashed potatoes. The side of cranberry sauce was pretty decent as well. The gravy on the turkey was rather bland but I was willing to overlook that. My friend's prime rib was still pink so that worked out okay and the meat was still tender. My cheesecake was pretty darn good but I didn't care for the sprinkles on the edge. They were almost like crunchy candy bits that didn't really add anything beneficial. My friend's eclair was huge but fairly ordinary. My cheesecake was better. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful and really made us feel welcomed. The busboy was also amazing. A really nice experience. I will be coming back but preferably during daylight hours.

Tried the 1/2 lb burger today. Great flavor, very fresh lettuce onion pickle and tomato! The burger itself is huge! Nice portion of fries comes with it! Our server was fantastic. It's very old school Vegas ambiance which is harder to find nowadays. My friends got the petite Prime Rib and were very happy. We will be back!!

Excellent service the crew is very attentive the food was all cooked well it did lack some seasoning it's not a terrible thing many places tend to over salt but I got to add it to my taste Only thing I wish they had a spicier salsa

Arrived on a Saturday morning around 11 am I was greeted by the friendly host, who introduced herself and seated us right away. The server was excellent and attentive as well. I ordered the steak and eggs medium rare and over easy eggs with a side of wheat bread and potatoes. Their midnight special, I believe, is Sunday through Thursday from 11 pm - 7 am for 7.99; otherwise, the steak and eggs are 17.99. In addition, I ordered a Baileys coffee, which was delicious as well. The steak was cooked perfectly with a bit of fat. The potatoes were nothing special, it's potatoes. Lol. The steak was not chewy but nice and pink. For a local spot and the price. I would recommend it. I have been to other steak and egg places around Vegas, but this place has been the best in my experience. Overall, I would definitely. Come back.

Jerry's Coffee Shop is inside Jerry's Nugget and for me - is always a sure bet for good food and service. It isn't in the most convenient location for me but I don't mind the drive. The service is always friendly, a lot of the people who work there have been working there for a very long time. My favorite things to order: New York Steak Dinner (generous portion, very tender, flame broiled) - approx $25 comes with a side, soup or salad Salmon Filet - simple and delicious Chile Rellenos (not available everyday) Taquitos Dessert! (Their bakery is amazing - so their breads, tortillas, pies, and cakes are all made onsite) - I don't know if I have a favorite! Aside from sandwiches, burgers, prime rib, they also have breakfast and Mexican, Greek, and other American/classic diner entrees. Definitely worth the trip for a casual meal!
